Dean Walker Song for Justice

Who Is Dean Walker?

Once in a generation, you may be lucky enough to discover something unprecedented, something so unlike anything else that has gone before, something so new and exciting that everything else pales in comparison... Well for this generation the wait is over, Dean is here!

Dubbed "The Scouse Prince of LA" by music mogul and former manager of The Police, Ian Copland.

Dean has toured with David Coverdale, Ronnie James Dio and Brian May, been 'A' Listed on Total Rock radio in the UK, had an acoustic set on Indie 103 in the States, has an endorsement with ESP guitars, had a photo shoot with Andrew MacPherson (U2's Tour Photographer), and 3 tracks used by Red Bull on their nationally televised Air Challenge, as well as playing live in LA at Avalon, Backstage, Viper Rooms, HOB, The Cat Club, The Lava Lounge, The Mint, The Highland Grounds, The Gig and BB Kings.

Not bad for an UNSIGNED artist!

From his roots in the notoriously deprived Huyton area of Liverpool, through being stabbed and realising life ain't what he thought it would be, to his move to LA, Dean's music has a deep, raw emotion that few other artists of the moment can boast.
He balances darknes with light, cynicisim with hope, loss with desire and has the looks, the swagger, and a dangerous sexuality not seen on stage for a long time.

'Remember Us 3.14' will be released for download from HMV and Virgin on 14th April.

'Cliche' is available now as download from iTunes, Napster and MusicNet, you can get a free clip of the video from RollingStone.com and the realtone and wallpaper from Ringtone Jukebox.

Dean's debut album '...I Want More' will be available to buy shortly. Watch this space! It's not too late to say you have discovered Dean...
Rember us 3:14
Hey remember us,
walking on a sunny afternoon,
knowing that there's nothing better to do,
only one thing to care for.

Now look at me,
singing on a sunny afternoon,
knowing that there’s nothing I can do,
now there’s nothing to care for.
No more.

Do you remember when?
we were singing on the streets again,
clapping our hands every now and then,
with something to die for.

Nobody cares anymore
everyone knows the score
my heart's dropping to the floor
‘cos nobody cares anymore.

And all the promises were all just lies.

Every now and then
the people see the name in the paper again,
it's going to take them right back when
there was something to cry for.

But can they see the flags
raised high above the sea of hands,
hoping that somebody will understand
it's still something to cry for.

But nobody cares anymore
and everyone knows the score
my hearts dropping to the floor.
‘cos nobody cares anymore.

Remember when we were singing on the streets again.
Remember when we were singing on the streets again.
Remember when we were singing on the streets again.
When will we sing on the streets again?

"As he lay on the battle field dieing, dieing, dieing
with the blood gushing out of his head
as he lay on the battle field dieing, dieing, dieing
these were the last words he said:

Oh I am a Liverpudlian
I come from the Spion Kop.
I love to sing, I love to shout
And I'm never going to stop..."

‘Cos every now and then
the people see the name in the paper again
it's going to take them right back when
it was something to die for

And they will see the flags
raised high above the sea of hands
hoping that somebody will understand
that it is something to cry for!

Dean Walker.
